We are looking for a dedicated and skilled teacher to join our KS3 Elms Provision for a one‑year temporary post. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to support pupils who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education and to make a meaningful difference in their educational journey.
About the Role
You will play a central role in inducting newly referred KS3 pupils into The Elms Provision, supporting them through bespoke pathways, and helping them re-engage positively with learning. The successful candidate will bring strong relational practice, effective behaviour management strategies, and a commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable learners.

- Recent proven experience working with permanently excluded KS3 pupils
- Experience of inducting pupils into a specialist provision such as The Elms

Comprehensive knowledge of managing KS3 pupils through permanently excluded pathways
- Strong relational skills and the ability to implement effective behaviour strategies
- Experience analysing quantitative and qualitative data to drive improved outcomes
- A proven record of contributing to improvements in practice and pupil progress
- Experience of teaching both Primary and Secondary pupils, delivering a nurture‑based curriculum
- Experience working within multi‑agency frameworks to support children and families
